A Sexually Immoral World

I've been teaching out of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 for the past four sermons. Four of the five sins listed in just verse 9 deal with sexual immorality. I am convinced that sins that are sexual in nature bring extremely good people down very hard and very fast. I am amazed at the amount of sexually immoral material is in the world today. There is so much of it in the world (and now with the internet it is very easily accesible) that one cannot but help lay his or her eyes on it if you drive down the freeway during the day. I see billboards when women scantily clothed, or even vans driving by me with pictures portraying men and women in unappropriate ways. Television is laced with such obscenity - even commercials. This post may seem odd to some, but nevertheless I feel Spirit led to write.

The people of Yahweh need to take a stand against such wickedness. We must cry aloud and spare not when it comes to sins as these. I for one am going to begin much more preaching and teaching on this issue. I believe that sexual immorality is breaking up marriages, homes, families, churches, etc. and it will not stop until the ministers of the Almighty take a stand and preach against these activities in a way where people will wake up to reality. Those who practice unlawful sex will not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh - period. There are no if's or maybe's to talk about. Sex was designed to be enjoyed within the marriage bed. It is marriage that is honorable, but male and female prostitutes, adulterers, etc. will be judged by the Father of Justice.

I hope to soon write an article on extra-marital sex, centering in on the issues of prostitution, pornography, and sex outside of marriage. Specifically what needs to be dealt with in this day and time is pornography on the internet. Family men can find themselves in front of a computer screen looking at filth and to them it does not seem like it is hurting or interfearing with their relationship with their wife and children. Oh, how great a fire a little matter kindleth! Such men are utterly wrong in their thinking. Pornography is poisoning the minds of people by the thousands all around the world. I'm very upset with the ways of the world and the ways of carnal men. 

If you are reading this and are currently involved in some type of illicit sexual activity whether in real life or in "internet land" you need to repent or perish. There is hope for you, but you must turn from your wicked ways. You can be saved from this perverted generation. Your life is worth more than what you are putting yourself through. Let go of the devil, and Yahweh will catch you and take you into His arms. He wants to make you whole and cause the demonic power of lust to be starved out in your very soul. Yahweh loves His children, but Yahweh hates all workers of iniquity.
